Infrastructure Ontario

Infrastructure Ontario is an arm's length crown corporation dedicated to the renewal of the province's hospitals, courthouses, roads, bridges, water systems and other public assets.  Using an Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) model that ensures appropriate public control and ownership, Infrastructure Ontario uses private financing to strategically rebuild vital infrastructure, on time and on budget.  Infrastructure Ontario also provides Ontario municipalities, universities and other public bodies with access to affordable loans to build and renew local public infrastructure.

On May 27, 2010 Infrastructure Ontario and Humber River Regional Hospital issued a press release announcing a request for qualifications to design, build, finance and maintain its new acute care hospital.
On May 31, 2010 Infrastructure Ontario and Halton Healthcare Services released a request for proposals to three companies short listed to design, build, finance and maintain the new replacement Oakville Hospital.
On March 5, 2010 Infrastructure Ontario issued a press release announcing the release of a request for proposals to three companies short-listed to design, build, finance and maintain a new, state-of-the-art forensic mental health facility that will be built on the hospital's existing site.

On January 18, 2010 Infrastructure Ontario issued a press release to provide an update on the hospital's enabling works project and to announce the companies that have pre-qualified to build and finance the hospital expansion and re-development project.
On January 18, 2010 Infrastructure Ontario issued a press release announcing that Integrated Team Solutions (ITS) is the preferred proponent selected to design, build, finance and maintain the new Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse.
On December 9, 2009 Infrastructure Ontario issued a press release announcing that three companies have been short-listed to design, build, finance and maintain a new mental health care project with two sites: one in London and one in St. Thomas.
