Canadian Farm Builders Association
The Canadian Farm Builders Association was formed by a group of farm-building contractors who met on February 5, 1980 and saw a need for uniformity and quality standards in the farm-building industry. Through ongoing communication and educational opportunities, the CFBA works to provide members with current information regarding best practices, regulations, policies, and advisories.
CFBA stakeholders from the construction and agriculture sectors include; farm-builders, engineers, OMAFRA representatives, building officials/inspectors, and suppliers of related products and services. Today’s farm buildings incorporate features for healthy livestock, production, energy conservation, and environmental protection.
