The Reinforcing Steel Institute of Canada (RSIC), formerly known as the Reinforcing Steel Institute of Ontario (RSIO), is an association representing the collective voice of its members across the country. The Institute’s main purpose is to help promote the benefits of reinforced concrete as the most effective and efficient construction method while adding value and support for our members and partners within the construction industry.

RSIC members are comprised of rebar and accessory fabricators, steel mills and associates that work within the reinforced concrete industry nation-wide. The Institute provides a platform which encourages dialogue among its members in order to advance our objective of developing and adhering to industry best standard practices, such as ensuring the safety of both the public and our workers.
